NOTE: New 2011-2012 applications for OOZ/OOD requests received after noon on Monday, August 1, will be considered after the tenth day of school. This pause allows the district an opportunity to consider each school's ACTUAL in-zone enrollment and staffing needs prior to making final decisions on these new requests.
For students who desire to attend a school as an out-of-zone or out-of-district (tuition) student, please be advised that these grades are closed for OOZ/OOD requests at the following schools based on enrollment projection.
All Schools: PreK classes are filled. (You may still apply to be placed on the waiting list.) Grade 5 is now closed in all schools for new out-of-district applications.
Dalton Middle School: Grades 6 and 7 are closed for new OOD applications. Grade 8 will open after the tenth day of school and close on May 1 of each year, with enrollment being based upon existing capacity and acceptance criteria.
In addition, these grades are closed at the following schools for both new OOD and OOZ requests: Blue Ridge--3rd; Brookwood--3rd; City Park--5th; Westwood--K, 1st, and 3rd.
