Dalton Public Schools offers a comprehensive benefits package to all eligible employees who work at least 20 hours or more per week. - Health Insurance - Offered through the State Health Benefit Plan
- Voluntary Benefits - Includes Flexible Spending Account (medical and/or dependent care), Dental, Vision, Disability, Life, Critical Illness and Auto and Homeowners Insurance.
- Payroll deduction for various benefits through approved vendors including Liberty National, Aflac, Valic, Foresters Group, Lincoln Financial, Pacific Life, Bradley Wellness Center and Georgia Federal Credit Union
- FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act) for up to 12 weeks of leave for a qualifying event
- Workers' Compensation
- Sick Leave
- Retirement - Teachers Retirement System of Georgia, Public School Employees Retirement System, 403(b), 457 and Roth IRA retirement savings plans
- Paid/Unpaid Annual Leave (12-month employees)
