Teachers' salaries are based on the state salary schedule approved by the General Assembly and the local supplement approved by the Dalton Board of Education. Additional pay may be paid for administrative duties or extracurricular activities, including sponsoring student activities, coaching athletic teams, or teaching extended day or year.
