Directions from I-75:

  • Exit I-75 at the Walnut Avenue exit (#333).
  • If arriving from the south (traveling I-75N), turn right at end of exit ramp on to Walnut Avenue.
  • If arriving from the north (traveling I-75S), turn left at end of exit ramp on to Walnut Avenue.
  • Continue on Walnut to Thornton Avenue (5th light if coming from I-75N, 6th light if coming from I-75S).
  • Turn left onto Thornton Avenue.
  • Continue on Thornton Avenue and turn left onto Fredrick Street.
  • Turn right onto Straight Street and then turn right into the parking lot entrance.

  • Exit I-75 at the Walnut Avenue exit (#333).
  • If arriving from the south (traveling I-75N), turn right at end of exit ramp on to Walnut Avenue.
  • If arriving from the north (traveling I-75S), turn left at end of exit ramp on to Walnut Avenue.
  • Continue on Walnut to Thornton Avenue (5th light if coming from I-75N, 6th light if coming from I-75S).
  • Turn right on to Thornton Avenue.
  • Continue on Thornton Avenue through one traffic light.
  • Continue on Thornton Avenue beyond first traffic light approximately one block and turn right on to Central Avenue (there is no light).
  • Continue on Central Avenue to a four-way stop.
  • Go through the four-way stop and Brookwood School is ahead on the left.

  • Exit I-75 at the Rocky Face exit (#336).
  • Turn right at the end of the ramp on to U.S. Highway 41/north Bypass.
  • Follow the Bypass to the 5th traffic light (the Cleveland Highway/Bypass intersection).
  • Turn right on to Cleveland Highway.
  • Continue on Cleveland Highway and go through one traffic light.
  • Continue on Cleveland Highway and to the second traffic light (get in leff-hand lane).
  • Turn left onto Legion Drive (Wendy’s restaurant on this corner).
  • Continue on Legion Drive through one traffic light.
  • Park Creek School is ahead on the left.

  • Exit I-75 at the Rocky Face exit (#336).
  • Turn right at the end of the ramp on to U.S. Highway 41S (if arriving from either north or south I-75).
  • At the first traffic light turn right on to Shugart Rd.
  • Continue on Shugart Rd. to the first traffic light.
  • Turn left on Waugh St./MLK Blvd.
  • Continue on Waugh Street/MLK Blvd. through 7 traffic lights and after the 7th light get into left lane.
  • At the 8th traffic light turn left on to Grimes Street.
  • Proceed to the next intersection (very short distance) to a 4-way stop.  Turn right on to Roan Street.
  • Roan School is on the right.

  • If arriving from the south (traveling I-75N), turn right at end of exit ramp on to U.S. Highway 41 S.
  • If arriving from the north (traveling I-75S), turn right at the end of exit ramp on to U.S. Highway 41 S.
  • At first traffic light turn right on to Shugart Rd.
  • Travel to the next traffic light and turn left on to Waugh St./MLK Blvd.
  • Continue to the fourth traffic light (not counting caution light at intersection of Manly St. and Waugh) on Waugh St. and turn right on to Thornton Avenue.
  • The school is located on the right in the middle of the block.


Westwood Elementary School

  • Turn right at the end of the ramp on to U.S. Highway 41 S. (if arriving from either north or south I-75).
  • At the first traffic light turn right on to Shugart Rd.
  • Continue on Shugart Rd. to the first traffic light.
  • Turn left on to Waugh St./MLK Blvd.
  • Continue on Waugh St/MLK to third traffic light.
  • At 3rd traffic light turn left on to Trammell St.
  • Continue on Trammell St. to a 4-way stop.
  • After passing the 4-way stop continue on Trammell Street. 
  • Westwood School is on right just past 4-way stop.

  • Exit I-75 at the Rocky Face exit (#336).
  • If arriving from the south (traveling I-75N), turn right at end of exit ramp on to U.S. Highway 41S.
  • If arriving from the north (traveling I-75S), turn right at the end of exit ramp on to U.S. Highway 41 S.
  • U.S. Highway 41 S continues in to the north Bypass.
  • Follow on the Bypass to the 6th traffic light after leaving I-75. 
  • At the 6th traffic light turn right on to Cross Plains Trail.
  • Follow Cross Plains Trail to the school.

  • At first traffic light turn right on to Shugart Rd.
  • Travel to the next traffic light and turn left on to Waugh St./MLK Blvd.
  • Continue on Waugh St. to the first caution light.
  • Turn right on to Manly St.
  • The school is located on the left of Manly St.

  • Continue on Walnut to Thornton Avenue (5th light if coming from I-75N, 6th light if coming from I-75S).
  • Turn left onto Thornton Avenue.
  • Continue on Thornton Avenue and turn right at the second traffic light onto Morris Street.
  • Continue on Morris Street.
  • Turn left onto Fredrick Street, you'll see a football field and you'll find a red brick building.

  • Turn left onto Thornton Avenue.
  • Continue on Thornton Avenue and turn right at the fourth traffic light onto Crawford Street.
  • Continue on Crawford Street through two lights.
  • Turn right onto Hamilton Street at the third light.  The Central Office is on the corner/on your right.
  • (If there is no parking in front of the building, continue making right turns—going around the block—and check for spaces on Crawford Street.)

Directions from I-75:

  • Exit I-75 at the Walnut Avenue exit (#333).
  • If arriving from the south (traveling I-75N), turn right onto Walnut Avenue.
  • After you pass Steak 'n’ Shake on your left you will need to move to the left hand lane.
  • At the next traffic light which is the intersection of Walnut and Thornton Avenue, you will turn left onto Thornton Avenue—stay in the left hand lane on Thornton.
  • After the 4th traffic light on Thornton Avenue you will turn at the first street, which is School Street. Parking will be on your left.
  • The Technology Center is the red brick building not connected to City Park School. Parking available on sight.
  • Enter through the door facing the parking lot.
  • If arriving from the north, exit I-75 at the Rocky Face Exit #336-turn right onto Highway 41 (bypass)
  • Follow bypass to 3rd. traffic light—intersection of Waugh Street  & Chattanooga Road –at light name will change again to North Thornton Avenue.
  • Continue through the traffic light onto Thornton Avenue. Turn right at School Street (Courthouse on left)-the entrance to City Park School and the Technology Center will be on your left.
  • The Technology Center is the red brick building not connected to City Park School. Parking available on sight.
  • Enter the through the door facing the parking lot.
