City Park hosted its annual Winter Pep Session today. The theme for our celebration was BE CATS. With the help of the Dalton High Cross Country Team, the DHS Catamount, the DMS Cougar, Santa, the Grinch, and the City Park Care Bears, we kicked off our new positive behavior plan called BE CATS. Santa and the Grinch performed a skit to model for students how Cats should Come Prepared, Act Respectfully, Take Responsibility, and Show Kindness. The chorus performed, mid-winter awards were presented, and our high school students helped provide the vision for what our City Park Panthers will become as Catamounts. The session ended with each grade level performing original cheers followed by our Panther cheer.

City Park's Annual Pennies for Presents Drive has concluded.  Congratulations to Mrs. Ellis's first grade class and Mrs. Simpson's fourth grade class--they were the grade level winners of this year's competition.
