Kevin Bustamante loves soccer! It's what he likes to do in his spare time and he says it's what other people know him for. He enjoyed playing the game for Morris Innovative High School, where the team made it to the state playoffs this spring. But as he graduated with the Morris Innovative High Class of 2017, he was already thinking about his future plans.
Kevin would like to be a veterinarian assistant. He enjoys playing with his dog, named Soccer of course, and has a part-time job at Petco. Kevin plans to attend Georgia Northwestern to further his education.
Kevin says his family has influenced his life more than anyone. They taught him to never give up.
Pam Massingale, assistant principal at Morris Innovative High, says she will remember Kevin for his respectful attitude towards everyone. "He always had a smile on his face," added Massingale. "Kevin has tremendous perseverance and always works hard. He was so supportive of his teammates and encouraged them to do their best. Kevin is an amazing student, and we're going to really miss him at Morris."
