We have a new student in our class. Carlos Segura is a great addition to our class family.  Carlos is from Texas.  Welcome, Carlos!

The big word for 5th grade is RESPONSIBILITY.  We are trying hard to prepare for Middle School.  If your child forgets their homework or weekly accomplishment sheet, please do not bring it to school for them.  Let them face the consequences (missing recess) and more than likely, they will remember next time.

Our class hamster, George, needs food and shavings.  Can you help us with this?

Monday, March 31- Friday, April 4:  CRCT

On Wednesday, March 26th, the 5th grade will have an orientation at DMS.  This is a GTEAT opportunity for the students to see the school as well as meet all of the 6th grade teachers. We will take the students from WW on buses and DMS has many fun activities planned for the students.  This is an Early Release Day.

Each Friday from 9:45-10:15, we have a story parent read to our class.  If you are unable to make your scheduled time, please let me know or call and switch with another parent.
