Join us next Tuesday, February 23 at 6 p.m. for a live Q&A session with Superintendent Tim Scott and the principals of our secondary schools.
They will be discussing the secondary school reconfiguration which will take place next year. In August 2021, the district will open Hammond Creek Middle School for grades 6 and 7. Dalton Middle School will become Dalton Junior High School for grades 8 and 9. The Dalton Academy will open as a school of choice for grades 10 through 12, and Dalton High School will continue as a high school for grades 10 through 12.
