Dr. Scott will be hosting a State of the Schools community meeting next Tuesday, September 18, in the council chambers at City Hall at 6 pm. He will be presenting an update to the work that has taken place on the Strategic Plan over the last year. Some of the highlights will include an update on district academic performance and accomplishments as well as a facility update.
Since school started, Dr. Scott, along with Wiley Dailey, our deputy superintendent for data analysis and school improvement, have been visiting each school and sharing a State of the School presentation for each faculty and staff. While these presentations have been focused on the individual schools, Dr. Scott's presentation on Sept. 18 will highlight the district-level information.
