We Hope You had a Wonderful Thanksgiving Break!

This month we conducted our annual "Kindergarten Photos with the Superintendent!" We dress our kindergarteners up in high school graduation robes and pose them for a photo they will get to take home. The photo helps them set a goal for graduation. Dr. Scott gave each child a book to take home and reminded them that if they work hard and stay determined, they can reach this goal! The Westwood STEAM Lab is wrapping up a project after being selected to receive a Dyson Engineering Box from the James Dyson Foundation.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS
This is the season to give back. Check with your student's school to see what kinds of give-back programs are going on. For example, City Park participates in Pennies for Presents and the Cats Care Food Drive for Dalton High starts next week. Every little bit counts!
