Spotlights:
Congrats to Ms. Gabriela Rodriguez, ELL and gifted teacher at Park Creek, for becoming a U.S. Citizen!
Dalton Middle now has a food pantry for students! Huge thank you to all involved in getting this project together.
On Feb. 12 our schools celebrated Georgia Day and some received a visit from DeeAnn Adams with the DAR!

It has been one year since the incident at Dalton High School on Feb. 28, 2018. As a way to acknowledge and reflect about that day, we are looking at the ways the community came together to support one another during that time, the ways we have enhanced security at the school and how, together, we are #DaltonStrong. Important Reminders!
- There will be an upcoming Substitute training session on March 15. If you are interested, please submit your application here by March 8.
- MAP testing is currently taking place in our schools. Make sure your students are well-rested and ready for the day by eating breakfast and arriving to school on time.
- Kindergarten Registration is ongoing until March 15. Pre-k Registration will take place at the community center March 19-20. OOZ/OOD Application Day is March 28.
- Spring Break will be the first week in April: April 1-5.
