Wednesday, August 7 was the first day of school for Dalton Public Schools! Welcome Back DPS! On Wednesday, August 7, we welcomed all of our students back to school for a brand-new year. The first day of school is always an exciting time. Some of our students are entering school for the very first time, while some are beginning their final year at Dalton Public Schools. We want to wish all of our students a very happy school year! Dr. Tim Scott recently wrote a column about the first day of school for The Daily Citizen. You can read his column here.
