Dalton Public Schools Announces Free Book Distribution Events as Part of Dalton Reads! Initiative

Dalton, GA – Dalton Public Schools is thrilled to unveil a series of upcoming free book distribution events as part of the Dalton Reads! initiative. The initiative aims to foster a love for reading and enhance literacy among children in the community.

Aligned with key legislation from the state of Georgia, Dalton Reads! is a comprehensive literacy initiative with a clear mission to equip all students from kindergarten through 12th grade with the essential literacy skills they need to succeed academically and beyond.

This summer, Dalton Public Schools invites children to various designated locations where they can pick up free books. By offering these free books, Dalton Reads! seeks to spark a passion for reading in young minds, encouraging them to explore new worlds and enhance their literacy skills throughout the summer break.

We cordially invite everyone to join us this summer and discover the joy of reading with these free book opportunities. Happy reading!
