Dalton Public Schools Announces Information on Summer Camps and Summer Nutrition Program

Dalton, GA – Dalton Public Schools (DPS) is excited to share information about the 2024 DPS Summer Camps and the Summer Nutrition Program. This year, DPS will offer a variety of engaging academic and athletic camps designed to enrich the summer experience for students of all ages.

DPS Summer Nutrition Program:

Dalton Public Schools is also proud to announce the launch of its Summer Nutrition Program, providing free lunches to children 18 years old and younger throughout the summer vacation period. Beginning on June 3rd and continuing through July 24th, this program aims to ensure that children in the Dalton community have access to nutritious meals during the summer months.

The Summer Nutrition Program will operate at various sites across Dalton, offering convenient access to free lunches for children. Lunch will be served at the following locations:

The program will be closed on July 4th and 5th in observance of Independence Day. No registration or fees are required to participate, but all food must be consumed on-site.

Dalton Public Schools encourages families to take advantage of this initiative to ensure that children have access to healthy meals during the summer break.
