What is your coaching background?

I started coaching my second year in Dalton Public Schools.

How long have you been coaching?

This year will be my third year coaching!

Did you play sports while growing up?

Growing up, I was involved with sports year round! If I wasn't at the ballpark on the weekends for my own tournaments, I was there supporting one of my siblings. Throughout school, I had the opportunity to participate on a variety of sports teams. I competed in competitive gymnastics, cheer, and dance; I got to play softball, basketball, and tennis as well.

What is your favorite coaching memory?

Many of my favorite memories with coaching are associated with the bus rides we take when going to either football games or competitions! Whether we are working as a team to get all of the girls' hair up and ready for a competition, or getting time to talk with the girls and listen to their stories, they are all times I cherish!

What is your favorite inspirational quote?

Would you like to shout-out your family?

Shout-out to my dad, mom, and step-mom. My dad was at every sporting event growing up, and when he wasn't a fan in the stands, he was my coach on the sidelines. He is the reason I am so passionate about getting kids involved in extracurriculars. To this day, he is still one of my biggest supporters, and he is the first person I turn to when I need coaching advice. My mom and step-mom were always my biggest fans growing up. They always encouraged me to go after what I am passionate about, and I always knew I could look up in the stands on a Friday night and see them cheering our team on.
