TDA Interact Club

Students from The Dalton Academy recently showcased their service initiatives at the regional Interact Conference, proudly representing the #6910 Carpet City Rotary Club. Sandra Aguilar, Jimena Chun Perez, Jennifer Vargas, and Michel Marin highlighted various projects, including clean-up events, canned food drives, and their invaluable volunteer efforts with the Dalton Lions Club.

The students had the opportunity to meet local community leaders and discuss their future plans with experienced mentors, which they found inspiring. To cap off their experience, they took part in a highway cleanup near the school and enjoyed a trip through Ellijay, discovering the scenic beauty of the area.

Paige Watts, Director of the Translation Academy and a Native Spanish Teacher, praised her students for their performance and leadership during the presentation. Their participation reflects the values of The Dalton Academy and demonstrates their commitment to community service.
