In its inaugural season last school year, The Dalton Academy boys’ soccer team claimed the state championship with a resounding 4-2 victory against Drew Charter Academy. Now, this remarkable accomplishment will be celebrated with the presentation of championship rings on Tuesday, November 15th during halftime of the TDA boys’ basketball game versus Gordon Central in the gymnasium. The ring celebration was made possible by the generosity and outpouring of support from the local community, and The Dalton Academy will be recognizing all those who have helped make the event possible.

The boys’ soccer team finished with an overall record of 18-2 and went undefeated in regional play. Head coach Rury Alvarez said, “We are extremely grateful for the community support of our program and are truly blessed to have a tremendous group of young men who are excellent student-athletes. Our inaugural season was magical, and we are excited to have the opportunity to celebrate this accomplishment and present championship rings.”
