The 2018 Fall Leadership Conference for Future Business Leaders of America chapters was held November 7-8 in Athens, Georgia at the Classic Center. Officers from the Morris Innovative High School chapter attended and experienced a dynamic general session, informative leadership training workshops, the Battle of the Chapters, one of the world's largest MONOPOLY® Tournaments and many other activities.

Attendees (pictured from right to left) included Mrs. Sheila Yarbrough, advisor for FBLA; Michael Nolasco, FBLA treasurer; Daniel Nunez, FBLA co-vice president; Brittany Adkins, FBLA secretary; and Elizabeth Cornejo, FBLA historian.

Adkins said she and her peers enjoyed the conference. "We heard a very good motivational speaker, Patrick Grady, at the opening ceremony which inspired us to do our best and reach for the goals that we dream of," she said.

In addition to the leadership workshops, the students and advisor enjoyed getting to network with other leaders in Georgia. The students also got to tour Stanford Stadium, the Bulldog Bookstore and the Tate Center on the campus of UGA.
