Crow said that the activities students took part in on this trip made it a once in a lifetime experience.

"Students explored important sites, discovered the diversity and heritage of different cultures, and returned home with a new found global perspective," Crow said.

Not only did the students experience the sights of Costa Rica, but they also had the chance to interact with the people as well. During the trip, they visited an elementary school and spent time with the students there.

"During the visit with the students, we provided them with school supplies, played games and danced," Crow said. "This was an exciting time for the students in the school and our Dalton High students. It provided time to practice conversational Spanish with the students, and I was very proud of our students."
