Letter from Brookwood - Brookwood Families, Next week, our 3rd & 5th Grade Lions begin Georgia Milestones testing, and the following week, our 4th Grade Lions begin Georgia Milestones testing. During these testing periods, we must modify our lunch schedule to accommodate our testing schedule. Because of these changes, we are pausing all lunch visitors beginning Monday, April 27th, until the end of the Georgia Milestones testing period on Monday, May 11th. šŸ¦šŸ–¤ā¤ļøšŸ’›On Friday, some of our kindergarten through 5th grade classes at Brookwood hosted thirteen students and two teachers from Baden-WĆ¼rttemberg, Germany for the day! Together, they transplanted milkweed in Kindergarten, planned out a garden plot in first grade, practiced their spelling skills in second grade, played games and read books together in third grade, and learned all about each other through scavenger hunts and questionnaires in fifth grade. The crowning experience was trapping turtles with fourth grade at Lakeshore Park. What an amazing day! We want to give a huge thanks to our new friends from the Helmut-Rau Schule in Mainhardt. We hope they had as much fun as we did!
