2. Our 2nd Grade Community Innovators will be selling their handmade catnip toys tomorrow morning in the front office! *All toys are $2 each
3.Our 5th Grade Farmers Market will be set up from 12:15pm - 1:00pm near the lower parking lot!

If you are or know a parent of a rising Kindergartener that would be interested in learning more about our German Immersion program, we are excited to share that we are holding a German Immersion Informational Meeting in Brookwood's Media Center on March 10th (Tuesday) at 7:45 AM! 🦁🎉We are also pumped to share that some of our German Immersion teachers are starting a German Club at Brookwood! This club is for any Kindergarten, 1st grade, & 2nd grade Lions that would like to learn more about the German language and culture. Your child does not have to be in German Immersion to join this club! The first meeting is this Thursday at 7:30am in the Media Center. If you're Lion is interested, please fill out this form:

🦁🫛Also, tomorrow, our 5th Graders will be selling the organic produce they have been growing in the Brookwood greenhouse! They will be selling at the lower staff parking lot. We hope you'll bring a few dollars and purchase some organically grown produce to support their STEM work!

Looking ahead: Next week is a busy week at Brookwood!
- On Wednesday, February 18th, we are having Brookwood Track Team Try-Outs for interested 3rd, 4th, & 5th grade Lions!
- On Friday, February 20th, is our Winter Wonderland Social that also for our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade Lions! Note: Tickets for this event must be purchased by Thursday, February 19th.

🦁🏅Congratulations to these Cats with Character who were recognized for the month of January! These Lions showed perseverance in the classroom, and we are so proud of them!

🦁🎥🍕Reminder: This Thursday is Movie Night! We are excited to invite our Lions back to Brookwood to enjoy a movie together from 5:30pm - 7:30pm. Movie Night tickets are $10 each and must be purchased by Wednesday, February 11th. Tickets include: a slice of pizza, chips, and a drink!

🦁🖤❤️💛Our Lions kicked off Black History Month with a school-wide assembly highlighting creativity and the beauty in its ability to link us all - regardless of how different we may look on the outside. Our speaker, Ms. Marisa Elaine, shared the inspirational story of Trombone Shorty. She emphasized the importance of community, grit, and following your dreams against all odds. Several of our Lions also shared poems, biographies, and essays about the power of creativity to bring us together.
