Dalton, GA — Dalton High School has been chosen as one of just four Georgia schools to participate in the Fox Theatre’s 2025–26 All-Access Pass program, an immersive initiative designed to expose high school students to the wide range of careers that support the arts and entertainment industry.
The program, launched by the Fox Theatre’s philanthropic arm, Fox Gives, is now entering its second year. Dalton High joins Pebblebrook High School, Putnam County High School, and Hart County High School.
“It means a lot to me and to our students to be given the chance to explore not only the quality of performance that the Fox is known for, but also the skills and professions that make it all possible,” said Alana Sane, theater director at Dalton High School.
The All-Access Pass offers Title I high school juniors and seniors unique opportunities to explore behind-the-scenes elements of live entertainment. Students will:
Attend a Regions Bank Broadway in Atlanta performance at the Fox Theatre
Take part in hands-on workshops and backstage tours
Participate in mentorship sessions with theater professionals
Experience the Fox Gives Shadowing Day, rotating through departments such as stage management, event services, and programming
In addition, participants connect with local community theaters, gaining technical experience and professional insights through talkbacks and mentorship. The program culminates with the possibility for one outstanding senior to earn a $5,000 scholarship toward further study in the performing arts, technical theater, film, arts education, or arts management.
The program selects schools that demonstrate both a strong commitment to the performing arts and active community involvement. Dalton High School will participate by sending 25–30 juniors and seniors eager to explore career opportunities in the arts.
“I am so excited and energized by this opportunity for our students. They work really hard, and they are talented and deserving,” said Dalton High School Principal Lee Collins.
Running from September 2025 through May 2026, the All-Access Pass introduces students to careers in lighting, sound, marketing, ticketing, stage management, and more. Over the course of the year, students will discover the diverse professions that make live entertainment possible, while building valuable skills, networks, and career inspiration.
Dalton Public Schools is grateful for this partnership with Fox Gives and the Fox Theatre, which provides our students with extraordinary opportunities to learn, grow, and explore future careers in the arts.
