Dalton High School Announces 2025 AP Scholars

Dalton, GA – Dalton Public Schools proudly announces the recognition of several exceptional students from Dalton High School who have been awarded AP Scholar distinctions by the College Board for their outstanding performance on Advanced Placement (AP) exams. These students have shown immense dedication to academic success and have achieved remarkable results in college-level coursework during their high school years.

The College Board's AP Program offers high school students the opportunity to earn college credit, and students who achieve qualifying scores on AP exams are recognized with varying levels of distinction:

  • AP Scholar: Granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams.

  • AP Scholar with Honor: Awarded to students who earn an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more exams.

  • AP Scholar with Distinction: Given to students who achieve an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on five or more exams.
