It’s officially Senior Spotlight season, and we couldn’t be more proud to shine a light on some of our recent graduates! Today we’re featuring Dalton Academy graduate Ella Austin! During her high school career, Ella was heavily involved in many different aspects of her school community, contributing her time, skills, and heart throughout all four years, making herself an indispensable part of her senior class. Ella participated in multiple sports, including tennis, golf, and cheerleading, where she served as captain. She also took part in several organizations within her school, including Junior Civitan, Melissa Quick’s Service Learning Group, yearbook, the National Podcast Project, and the Buddy Program, where she served as a Big Sister to a local elementary school student. Ella believes some of her greatest achievements include being recognized as a Young Georgia Author, becoming a Scholar Athlete, and receiving multiple scholarships to support the continuation of her educational journey. However, she ultimately believes her greatest achievement was her contribution to Dalton Academy and helping make it feel like a home for both herself and many other students. She states that Dalton Academy helped shape the woman she is today. We would personally like to thank Ella for being such an important part of what has made Dalton Academy what it is today. Through her dedication and involvement, she has helped shape the culture of the school in a lasting way, and we are confident that she will continue to make a meaningful impact wherever she chooses to go next. Congratulations Ella!
