To finish up learning about air transportation this week, students in Mrs. Smith & Mrs. Atkinsons Pre-K class participated in a competition to see which type of air transportation would fly the farthest: a paper airplane or a paper glider.
Students were split up into teams, then the flights began. Mrs. Smith marked each students’ landing with a piece of tape. Then the class compared the lengths of their flights.

Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss! 🎉📚
Mrs. Landeros’ class had so much fun celebrating Dr. Seuss’s birthday! We read Green Eggs and Ham and then made our very own green eggs and ham for the students to taste.
After trying them, the students voted on whether they liked the green eggs and ham or not. It was such a fun (and yummy!) way to bring the story to life. 💚🍳

Students in 3-5th grade enjoyed Friday's Jonas Program "Hey, What's that Sound?" provided through the Creative Arts Guild! Students learned how the elements of STEAM work together for creation. Dave played instruments, showed how sound works, and engaged students throughout the program.

Mrs. Harrison’s and Mrs. Ulman’s 2nd and 5th graders teamed up for the 2026 Winter Potato Olympics!
The 5th graders designed the events, created recording sheets, and served as incredible hosts while guiding the 2nd graders through each competition.
Students practiced measurement, comparing numbers, and data analysis throughout the games, and the potato athletes gave it their all! After hosting, the 5th graders even had the chance to compete with their own potato athletes.
A fun day of learning, and collaboration! ♥️🐾
