After shining on stage in their 5th grade musical, our Wildcats kept the music going in class! ❤️🎶🐾
This week, students wrapped up their recorder unit by learning BAG notes and getting creative, composing their own songs using Skittles as a fun, hands-on tool. After performing their compositions, they enjoyed their candy treat.

Congratulations to our Young Georgia Authors! They represented our school with excellence at the awards ceremony, and we couldn’t be more proud of them!
Keep writing, keep dreaming, and keep sharing your voices. Way to go, Wildcats! ❤️🐾📚

Mrs. Calsetta’s and Ms. Torres’ classes have been working on their “How-To” writing, creating their very own cookbook! 📖✏️
They’ve learned steps for making pancakes, pudding, quesadillas, and s’mores. Learning has never been so delicious! 😋

Mrs. Lewis' 4th graders used their geometry vocabulary to recreate their partner's pattern block design. We also learned how important it was to give clear, precise directions and to listen carefully to those directions! Math is fun!

Our 5th grade students did an amazing job on their musical, Westwood Rocks! We are so proud of their hard work and talent! Way to go, Wildcats!❤️🐾🎼

March is Gifted Education Month, and March 18 is designated as Community Service Learning Day, and our Wildcats celebrated in a very special way!
Students from all grade levels wrote encouraging chalk messages at the school entrance for teachers, created a collaborative thank-you poster, painted kindness rocks to spread joy throughout the community, and more.
Our 5th graders planned a special day of service where they helped teachers as a way to say thank you for all the support and encouragement shown to them throughout their elementary years. They assisted with morning duty, helped with work, read, and played with other students.
It was a special day of service filled with kindness! ❤️🐾

Ms. Holmes, Mr. Veraldi, Mrs. Scoggins, and Mrs. Anderson added a little magic to math time with a fun and tasty Lucky Charms graphing activity! 🍀🌈
Third grade students sorted their cereal by marshmallow shapes (hearts, stars, clovers, and more), counted each group, and created their own graphs to display the data.
