Free Virtual Reading Classes for 3rd Graders
The Georgia Department of Education and Tutored by Teachers are offering free, virtual reading classes to help 3rd grade students prepare for Georgia Milestones.

This is a great opportunity to build confidence and boost reading skills ahead of testing!



We will have a staff and student holiday on Friday, April 18. Monday, April 21 is a Virtual Learning Day.
For Virtual Day, students should complete their work at home via printed materials sent home by teachers. We will welcome students back on Tuesday, April 22.

PAWS is excited to get a peek into Neverland thanks to our play performers! Come out to see the Pantastic show on Tuesday, April 15 at 6:00 PM in the City Park auditorium! Many thanks to Mrs. Garcia, Ms. Catlett, Ms. Manis, Ms. Vasquez, and Mr. Satterfield for their leadership!



Each year, Dalton Public Schools hosts an elementary track championship where all six of our elementary schools compete against one another. City Park has a team comprised of third, fourth, and fifth grade students that is coached by Mr. Talley and Mr. Nava. PAWS is very thankful for the Carpet Capital Running Club and Team Bruner for their ongoing support for this exciting event.
They will represent PAWS and the 405 on April 16 from 9:00-1:30 in this fun district wide event at the Dalton High School Track.
Come out on April 16 and cheer on the Panthers’ Track Team!

Field Days at City Park are famous for both fun and fashion! Field Day t-shirt order forms have been sent home, so be sure to check your child's folder for these. Youth and Adult sized shirts are $6 each. Extended sizes are $8 each. Please send exact change as no change will be given. Checks should be made payable to City Park School . The final date to order will be Wednesday, April 9. All forms and money should be sent to your child's homeroom teacher. Field day t-shirts will be delivered and distributed the week of field day
